Yeah, but nerds collect weird things. It’s not like sports fans decorate their bedrooms with flags, and badges, and jerseys, and #1 hands, and T-shirts, and fake sports equipment mounted on little plastic things, and collector cards, and team color bedspreads, and… oh.
Well, nerds wear weird T-shirts and costumes at related events. You’d never see a sports fan wearing a T-shirt/jersey with their team name, or a big foam hand and half-naked except for paint in their team colors…
